The Finger Print of God – A Celtic Cantata will receive its Irish Premier in St. Brendan’s Church, Oxmantown Mall on Sun. 6th April at 7.30 p.m.  Birr Choral Society with members of neighbouring choirs and guests will perform this musical treat.  Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Banagher & Garbally Wind Info. Group:  National protest march in Dublin on Tues. 15th April against Wind Farms, Pylons and Sub Stations!  It is time to stand up to protect communities across Ireland and unite with other groups over the scale of the current energy policy.  Join us on the 15th April at 11 a.m. on Parnell Square, Dublin.  Anyone who would like to travel by bus please contact us on   Bus will be leaving from St. Rynagh’s G.A.A. car park at 8.15 a.m. on Tues. morning. Cost €15.  YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE – STAND UNITED together to show this government how many people do not want these industrial turbines, pylons and sub stations.

Banagher Ladies Club:  Summer Trip will take place on Wed. May 21st.  We will be going to An Bord Gais Energy Theatre to see “Singing in the Rain”.   There is an overnight stay at The Grand Canal Hotel with breakfast and evening meal.  The cost is €130.  Deposit of €50 to Ann Mullins or Mary Reynolds.    Non Members welcome.

Banagher Bereavement Group would like to thank Banagher Sub Aqua Club for their generous donation of €400 that was raised from their Christmas Day Swim.  Also thanks to Sean & Aileen Corrigan for their generous donation of €350 which was raised from their Women’s Little Christmas Night Out.  A sincere thank you to all concerned.

A Bereavement Day offering a space of quiet, prayer and reflection will be held on Sat. 12th April from 2 to 6 p.m. in Ard Chiarain, Shannonbridge (just past Old Fort across bridge on left).
