Service of Reconciliation:  On Tues evening at 7.30 p.m. a service of forgiveness will be celebrated.  We take this opportunity to seek the forgiveness of God, for failings of our past and to renew our commitment for the future.  All are welcome.

Church Reopening: At long last we are back in our own Church after 5 months.  You are all welcome and we hope you are pleased with the works that have been carried out.  Very many people have worked hard to realise this plan, the restoration committee, those who helped set up the various venues over the past few months, those who helped move seats, clean the Church, our Sacristan and all our contractors.  A sincere word of thanks to them all.  A special word of thanks to all the parishioners who have made all this possible by your generous support.  We will have an official re-dedication of the Church later on in the year.

Adoration on Holy Thursday:  After Mass on Holy Thursday until 11 p.m. there will be Adoration.  A sheet will be placed in the Church for anyone wishing to sign their name to spend some time in Adoration. You are invited so spend some time with The Lord to thank Him and to pray for your family and the Church.

Banagher Youthreach is holding a Two Day Car Wash from 9.30 – 3.30 p.m. on Tues. 26th & Wed. 27th March.  Cost €5 entrance Cuba Ave.  All welcome.

Banagher Foroige Club:  Club members trip to Tullamore Bowling on Thurs. 28th March. Bowling Trip sponsored by Michael Boylan Transport and Banagher Foroige   *  Club Members Disco in Dublin on April 3rd for 15 years up.  Tickets €15 plus bus.  * Members Disco in Kilcormac on April 5th cost €10.   * Next Club Meeting April 11th in The Community Centre.  Permission Form for all outings from Ann Mullins.

Free Triple P Parenting Programme for Parents of 0-7 years coming to Banagher! Triple P gives you tips and strategies to make family life less stressful with young children and a good understanding of positive parenting with plenty of ideas to make parenting easier.

Banagher & District Cardiac First Response Unit wishes to thank everyone that contributed to the church gate collection last weekend.   A total of €668 was collected.

Well done to Banagher Drama Group who were nominated in 10 categories in the West Limerick Drama Festival in Knockaderry. They won 2 awards, Kevin Lynch for most promising actor and Marita Fogarty/Clare Lynch for stage management. Congratulations to everyone involved.

The Gathering Celebrations:  A public meeting will take place on Wed 27th March at 8 p.m. in the Crank House, for all interested in helping to suggest and organize gathering events in the town for July and August. It is hoped that a representative from all organizations in the town will attend.  Everyone welcome.

Banagher Knitting Club meet in The Library every Thurs. eve from 6 to 8 p.m., so bring along your needles and wool.   knitwear for sale in Banagher town centre at Craft Fair on Easter Sat. 30th March. We are hoping to set up a kids knitting club after Easter on Sat. morn in The Library.   If anyone wishes to help to teach kids to knit please let us know.

St. Rynagh’s Camogie Club are collecting any unwanted bags of clothes.  Bags can be left with Pasquelina or Ann Marie or ring 087 1894778.

Banagher Library March Opening Times: Banagher Library will be open for normal hours- Thurs. 2-5 p.m. 6-8 p.m., Fri. 10-1 p.m.,2-5 p.m.,Sat. 10-1 p.m. As per normal the library will be closed any Saturday of a Bank holiday weekend i.e. 16th March and 30th March and also for Good Friday 29th March 2013.
