Remembering Our Dead:  On Fri. 2nd Nov. at 7 p.m. we will be remembering all the dead of our Parish at a special Mass.  We will remember in a special way all those who have died in our Parish over the past 12 months.  You are all invited to come and pray for and remember your loved ones.

Church Readers:  We are looking to compile a new Readers Rota and are looking for new volunteers to read at Sunday Masses.  If you would like to read at Mass please contact Fr. Pierre.

Tidy Towns News:  Important Tidy Towns Network Meeting  will take place on Wed. 24 Oct. 2012 at 7.30 p.m.  in the Co. Council offices, Tullamore.  Mr. Pat Gallagher, Co. Manager and representatives from Abbeyshrule Tidy Villages Committee (National Winners 2012) will be the speakers on the night, everyone welcome.

We also wish to complement  Barbara Coakley for her great window displays for all seasons. Barbara has a unique gift and design skill. It’s an example that should be emulated throughout the town.
