  7 Ceremonies for the Year of Mercy

 

Mercy is the Bridge between God and Humanity.  Themes and dates:

The National Ploughing Championships  really require very little introduction at this stage. As one of Europe’s largest Outdoor Exhibitions and Agricultural Trade events the National Ploughing Championships attracts over 1,500 delighted exhibitors and almost 300,000 Attendees. This year’s National Ploughing Championships will take place in September at Screggan, Tullamore, Co Offaly.  Showcasing Irish Food, Farming and Culture this event incorporates all sectors of agriculture and rural living from the latest development in Agricultural Machinery to a comprehensive showcase of Livestock Breeds, Animal Husbandry and Management, Motors, Forestry, Bio Energy, Business Management and Regulatory Bodies.

Banagher Library opening hours are:  Thurs. 2-5 p.m. & 6 – 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. -1 p.m. &  2 – 5 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m. -1 p.m.

All Open Libraries members can use the library 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Mon. through to Sun. To join as an Open Library member bring photo ID and proof of address to the library during staffed hours. Library books can be returned to any library branch in Offaly.
