Children’s Art & Pottery Summer Camp at Belmont Mill:  Children will get to hand made and decorate pottery.  Other activities include drawing, painting, with a party and talent competition on the final day.  Dates:  July 25th – 29th.  Ages 4+       Time 10 – 12.30 p.m./2 – 4.30 p.m.   Cost. €55 per child with family discounts available. Banagher Active Retirement Club: The club has organised a trip to Bru Boru, Cashel this Tues. July 26th.  The bus leaves from the library square at 4 p.m.

Offaly Local Development Company in association with the ETB invites applications for a 6 month full-time QQI (FETAC) Level 5 “Healthcare Support” course commencing in Birr, September 2016.  You are welcome to make informal enquiries to 087 738 5989.

Lough Derg is a place of welcome where no one is judged and everyone is equal.  You can begin your three Day Pilgrimage on any day until 13th August.  No need to book. Daily boats to the Island from 10.30 a.m. until 3 p.m. 7 days a week until 13th August. Regular pilgrimages throughout the season country wide. Computer Summer Camps – West Offaly training.  Children on these camps will use computers for educational, research and fun purposes.  Liquid refreshments, course manual and certificate of participation will be provided.  Cost €25.   Dates:  26th – 29th July and 9th -12th Aug.  Beginners 9.30 – 12.30 p.m. Tues. to Fri., Intermediate 2 – 4.45 p.m. Tues. to Fri.  For more details contact West Offaly Training at 057 9152003.
