Wedding:  Congratulations to Angelina McDonagh, Banagher & John Doorly, Tullamore, who were married in St. Rynagh’s Church last weekend.

Pilgrimage Gathering:  A sincere word of thanks to everyone who helped prepare and lead our prayers last Thursday, those who read, took part in the processions, the various musicians, as well as those who helped prepare the space and provided the sound and refreshments.

Banagher Active Retirement Club: The club has organised a trip to Bru Boru, Cashel on Tues. July 26th.  The bus leaves from the library square at 4 p.m.  Balance of €20 due before Tues. 19th July.  A few places available.  Contact Bridie a.s.a.p.

Offaly Hospice Foundation Church Gate collection will be taking place
throughout the county on Sat. 16th & Sun. 17th July. All money raised will be spent directly on patient care in our local communities. Your support will be greatly appreciated and much needed in helping us support the work of Offaly Palliative Care Team services in our county. All money raised in Offaly stays in Offaly.

Ferbane/Banagher Macra:  We are having a TABLE QUIZ in Kelly’s, Belmont on Friday 15th July at 9 p.m. in aid of iCAN, a very worthy cause for children with juvenile arthritis. Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.  We will be in St. Rynagh’s G.A.A. Children’s Art & Pottery Summer Camp at Belmont Mill:  Children will get to hand made and decorate pottery.  Other activities include drawing, painting, with a party and talent competition on the final day.  Dates:  July 11th – 15th, 18th – 22nd , 25th – 29th.  Ages 4+   Time 10 – 12.30 p.m./2 – 4.30 p.m.   Cost. €55 per child with family discounts available.
