Time of Silence and Prayer: Each Wed. evening from 7.30 p.m. to 8 p.m., a short time of silence and prayer takes place in the Church. This is a wonderful way to close the activities of the day. All are welcome.

First Friday:  Fr. Pierre will make some of his call this Fri. and the remaining next Friday

Summer Time: Clocks go forward 1 hour this Sunday morning at 1.00 a.m.

Confessions:  The Sacrament of Confession will be celebrated on Wed. 1st April at 8 p.m. in preparation for Easter Triduum.  A number of priests will attend.

Trocaire Boxes:  Please bring your Trocaire Box to Mass on Holy Thurs. night.

Dawn Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. on Easter Sunday morning in the grounds of St. Rynagh’s Church, not in the old Church grounds in Church Street as in previous years.

Liturgy Meeting this Monday at 8 p.m. in The Presbytery.

Stations of the Cross on Good Friday at 7 p.m. the Passion will be re-enacted by students of Banagher College.  Stations begin at 7 p.m. in the Library Car Park and conclude in the Church.  Please join us in this public expression of faith.

Banagher Graveyard General Clean up:  A general clean-up of the cemetery will take place this Tues. at 6 p.m. weather permitting or Wed. if Tues. is wet.  This is an Easter clean up.  All welcome to help.

St. Rynagh’s Camogie Club:  Best of luck to our U14 girls who are playing the Féile County Final on Sunday 29th at 6 p.m. in Kinnitty.  All support welcome.

Easter pop-up market: After their hugely successful market last year, the Banagher Junior Knitting Club will host their pop up market on Sat. 4th April from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in Supervalu shopping centre. See you there!

Acknowledgement:  The family of the late Michael Reynolds wish to thank everyone who helped in anyway during Michael’s illness.  Those who helped and sympathised, called to the house, attended his funeral.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token or our appreciation.  The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Banagher Junior Knitting Club: Parents please note there will be no Junior Knitting club in Banagher Library on Saturday 4th and 11th April for the Easter break. It will resume on Saturday 18th April at 10.30 a.m.

Titanic The Ultimate Presentation:   Shannonside Sub Aqua is delighted to announce that Rory Golden, the first Irish diver to visit the site of the RMS Titanic will be our special guest on the 9th April (103 Anniversary) in the County Arms Hotel where he will give an unmissable talk on his experience of diving the famous Titanic. New Mass of Saint Mel:  The Launch of the newly composed Mass of Saint Mel for use in our diocese will take place in the Temperance Hall Longford on Sat. 11th April from 2-5 p.m. Registration at 1.30 p.m. and Mass at 5 p.m., in the Cathedral.
