Croagh Patrick Climb:  Our Annual Croagh Patrick Climb takes place on Mon. 4th Aug. (Bank Holiday).  A bus will leave from the Parish.  If you wish to travel give your name to Fr. Pierre over the coming weeks.

Cemetery Development Collection: A sincere word of thanks to all those who have so generously contributed to the Cemetery Collection so far.  If you wish to make a contribution

you can leave your donation at any weekend Mass or into the Post Office, or at the collection box at the Cemetery Mass this Sat. 26th at 7 p.m.

Banagher Park:  On Thurs. evening next 31st Aug. at 7 p.m. the latest phase of the important development in Banagher Park (West Bank) will be unveiled.  EVERYBODY WELCOME.  Light refreshments will be served.

Shannon Harbour Community Association Annual High Nelly Cycle takes place on Sunday August 3rd at 3 p.m.  sharp.  Registration from 2 p.m. in the Community Hall.  Please note registration necessary to participate.    Tug of War Saturday 2nd August at 7 p.m.

The Personal Employment Pathway programme is a FREE support service provided in Offaly. It is a job skills programme supporting people with disabilities, helping them develop personally and giving them the tools necessary to engage in education and employment in their local communities.  Our key worker will be in Tullamore Library every Wed. at 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. from 30th July to 3rd Sept. 2014 to provide further details on the programme. As part of International Bog Day there will be a talk on Irish Bog Bodies by Eamonn Kelly, Keeper of Antiquities at the National Museum of Ireland at the Clara Bog Visitor Centre on Sun. 27th  July at 3 p.m. sharp.   Refreshments and bog cake will be served afterwards. There will also be a guided tour of Clara Bog at 11 a.m. and a bog memorabilia display from 2 p.m. at the Centre. There is no charge on the day. Clara Bog Visitor Centre, Ballycumber Rd., Clara, Co.
