The Charity Breadline Africa which specialises in renovating old shipping containers for use as homes,  schools, clinics and school book-stores etc. in Africa is seeking help. A school with one hundred children in its care has no access to proper toilets. The school is located in a shanty town, Ukwanda, in South Africa. The only toilet facilities in this school are three open potties outside in the playground, so the children have absolutely no privacy. They have no place either to wash their hands. The area is baking hot in summer but freezing cold and wet in winter. Imagine the lack of dignity and the risk of illness for these children who are all under the age of seven.  Diarrhoea is the greatest killer of children under five in southern Africa. If you can help this charity with even a small donation you can make a real difference to these little children’s lives. Donations can be sent to: Breadline Africa Ireland, P.O. Box 9737, Glenageary, Co. Dublin.
