Restoration Update: During the week there Church was cleared of all the seats, altar, Tabernacle stand and ambo. That Rose Window has now been installed in the Church. During the removal of the Sanctuary area we discovered the original marble. We are looking at the possibility of using it as part of the new plan, if we can, we will. Thanks to the large crowd who turned up on Tuesday to help move the seats.

Brother Brian Johnson: This weekend we welcome Brother Brian to our Mass. He will be speaking about his schools in Africa as he prepares to retire and there.

Parish Christmas Cards: This year Parish will be selling Christmas Mass Bouquet Cards with the image of last year’s crib on the front. All those who receive the card will be included in the Masses over the Christmas Season. Cards will be on sale after Masses in some shops €1.50. A great gift for family and friends

Retirement Club: Meeting Tuesday 27th of November at 2.00 pm with a Service of Remembrance of deceased members.

Banagher Foróige Club meet every Thursday night in the Community Centre. 8.00 pm – 9:30 pm. Membership to the club is now closed.

West Offaly Bantry Bay Longboat Project: Places are available on this project which is taking place in St Rynagh’s College of Further Education on Monday 9.00 am to 4.00 pm and Tuesday 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. The project includes training in carpentry skills and the construction of a Bantry Bay Longboat under the direction of Dougal McMahon (Boat Builder, Belmont). If interested contact P. As part of Uniting our Neighbouring Parishes a Holy Hour will take place in Ferbane Church this Sunday 25th of November at 5.00 pm. This hour is for all our Faithful Departed in our Parishes. It will be led by young people. All young people and not so young very welcome. Just one hour.

Banagher Drama Group in association with Banagher United Soccer Club present “Out of Order”, a comedy by Ray Cooney in Birr Theatre & Parts Centre on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December. Tickets available from Tracey Martin any team manager.

Clonfert Christmas Bazaar will be held in the Community Hall on Sunday 2nd of December starting at 2:30 pm. Lots of prizes and a large Hamper to be won. All are welcome. Please support.

Eyrecourt Christmas Craft Fair & Country and Market will be held on Saturday 8th of December in Eyrecourt Community Hall from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Anyone interested in taking a stall please contact Caroline McCormack 087 9584424 or Mary Colohan 087 6213717.

Remembrance Day Mass: Athlone Institute of Technology on Thursday 29th of November at John McCormack Hall, Athlone at 11.00 am. Families or friends of deceased relatives are welcome to attend.

Banagher College – Coláiste na Sionna Green Schools Committee as part of the Green Schools Programme will be carrying out an energy survey in Banagher Town over the next few weeks. We are currently working on our 2nd flag. The theme of which is “Energy”. Thank you for your continued support.
